Well, it’s finally here! The first of my “… and the Mouse” novellas has arrived in print, and it’s a proud moment for me. I wrote it last year, to cheer myself up. It was never meant to be anything other than a distraction as I was struggling with the novel I was writing (since scrapped!). However the story of Belle and James, as well as the Disneyland Paris setting grew on me, and helped me through a bad patch in my writing. I thought, if it cheered me up, perhaps it will also cheer other people up too, and I started looking for a publisher – and found one, with Bob McLain over at Theme Park Press. Then Covid came along, and everything ground to a halt!
So, now as we approach Christmas, there is no better time to introduce the world to the sparkly, feel-good romance that is “Mistletoe and the Mouse”. It’s short, sweet and cheap! (Currently only 77p for Kindle!)
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Can a magical Christmas melt a frozen heart?
Join Belle and James as they visit Mickey Mouse for a sparkling holiday season at Disneyland Paris.
Belle has been numb since her mother died, and she can’t face Christmas at home without her. Instead she books a surprise holiday to her “happy place” – the Magic Kingdom. But her boyfriend James has problems of his own. He doesn’t “do Disney” and what will his mother think of him missing their family Christmas to go to Disneyland with Belle?
A festive romance with a sprinkling of pixie dust.
